The city of Clanton has plenty of parks and recreation facilities that are available for use by the community.

The Clanton City Park offers:
  1. 4-field Dixie Youth Boys Baseball Complex that hosts games for players aged 5 to 18.
  2. 3-field Dixie Youth Girls Softball Complex that hosts games for players aged 5 to 18.
  3. 7 Regulation Tennis Courts
  4. 2 Men's League softball fields (used each season by church leagues)
  5. Jack Hayes Field, which serves as Home field for the Chilton County High School Tigers baseball team. This field is also used for area tournaments and for the annual Peach Auction.
  6. Soccer Field
  7. Playground
  8. Little League Football field
  9. Boy Scout and Girl Scout facilities
  10. Pavilions that can be reserved for picnics, family reunions and other events.
  11. Public swimming pool (June & July) that is available for private parties in the evenings.
The City Park ball fields usually host 3 softball tournaments and 1 or 2 baseball tournaments each year. The Peach Classic Tennis Tournament has been held at the Tennis Complex since 1993.

E.M. Henry Skill Center & Pool has a swimming pool, weight room and skill center. The weight room is open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday (Children age 13 & under must be supervised by a parent). The pool opens the first week in June and closes the last week in July.

Goosepond Park has a lighted paved walking track, picnic tables and a covered pavilion that is available for picnics and reunions.

The walking track usually hosts several charity walk-a-thons and relays each year. West End Baptist Church holds its annual Living Christmas Walk each December at Goosepond Park.

Ollie Park has cooking grills and picnic tables and is located close to the YMCA and the walking track.

Recreation Center

The Clanton Recreation Center features a large meeting/banquet area and a kitchen. The center will accommodate 75 persons and is available for reunions, receptions, meetings and other events.
