The City of Clanton contracts probation management services with Judicial Correctional Services (JCS). Judicial Correctional Services no longer conducts routine business at The Clanton Municipal Complex. The JCS representative is only onsite in Clanton during court each Tuesday.

The Clanton Municipal Court has partnered with the National Safety Council to offer defensive driving training for motorists who receive minor traffic violations. The Defensive Driving Course is not available for habitual violators. The course is open to all citizens in the area. The National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course registration process consist of the following steps:

The Defensive Driving Course is scheduled for the first Monday of each month from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Clanton Municipal Court. The cost to attend Defensive Driving Course is $150.00 per student. The Clanton Municipal Court accepts Cash, Debit, Credit Cards, Certified Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks Only. The Clanton Municipal Court does not accept personal checks.
