Clanton Fire Department Station Number 1 is located at 100 6th Street South. It houses Engine 1, a 2000 Pierce 1500 GPM pumper built on a Dash Chassis, Rescue 21, a 2008 Pierce Advanced Life Support/Service Unit built on a Ford F-550 Chassis and Truck 1, a 2009 Pierce 100’ Aerial Quint Platform with a 2000 GPM pump built on an Arrow XT Chassis. Station 1 also houses the fire department administration offices and classroom.
