The racial makeup of the city was 77.31% White, 20.01% Black or African American, 0.29% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 1.29% from other races, and 0.74% from two or more races. 2.64% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
